BREAD FOR LIFE

BACKGROUND

Bread for Life, founded in 1984, is a community supported nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity in Southington, Connecticut. Guided by its vision, “So no one goes hungry,” the organization provides nutritious meals, homebound meal delivery, senior services, school snacks and summer lunch programs. Beyond providing food, Bread for Life focuses on creating fellowship, affirming dignity and building meaningful connections for individuals and families in need. Through the support of volunteers, donors and community partnerships, Bread for Life can continue to expand its impact and serve the changing needs of the Southington community.
